This Monday,
We left Tokyo at 8:00 a.m. and drove about an hour to Sakura City, where the field is located.
The day was one of the hottest in recent memory, with a temperature of 35 degrees,
All employees gathered to harvest beets.
Let's produce a lot of good beets this year! The beets that we sowed with great enthusiasm bore a lot of fruit.
We were only able to advance about 1/4 of the total area of the beet field in about 2 hours of work,
It was a great time to work and communicate with the field staff, with whom I don't usually have much time to spend together.
I have the opportunity to go to the fields several times a year, but I honestly feel that this midsummer season is the most difficult.
Sweating like an unstoppable waterfall,
Covered in dirt from the fields, his body tanned bright red,
Vegetables harvested in such an environment feel truly special.
Stores are stores, of course, and they can be very difficult,
It is easy to lose those feelings when you are there all the time.
So every time I go to the field,
Oh, I have to work hard in the store again,
It makes me feel like I am being forced to tighten my helmet.
I will continue to have respect for the Hatake staff,
We want to deliver delicious vegetables to our customers every day!
