It has become a rare variety that can be eaten as edamame for only two weeks before maturing as soybeans 🌿.
The variety has been produced for so long that I don't know when it started... 🧐.
We process our own Koito native edamame into soybeans and then make our own tofu, soy sauce, miso, etc.!
Edamame and beer, it's sinking in 😫.
