Hello! WE ARE THE FARM Meguro.
4/12 Staff had a farm experience! 🍅
Twice a month, the Meguro store actually goes to a farm in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, to work in the fields and see the current state of the vegetables!
Today we weeded and thinned the carrot field! 🥕
What do you think is the most common task in growing vegetables?
What a surprise, the most common work on the farm is weeding and thinning. 🌱
It was a steady but truly rewarding task that took about 2.5 hours.
This is work we have to do because we do not use herbicides, so once again I realized how difficult and hard it is to grow pesticide-free vegetables. I can only thank the field staff who work hard every day to protect the vegetables 😢.
After working in the fields, the staff spent a congenial time harvesting vegetables and listening to the farmers talk about various vegetables! 🗣️
My personal opinion is that
I would like to know more about the local people and their charms that I don't know about!
I hope to be able to bring up the topic of farm training when you visit us in the future 🫣.
