These bamboo shoots come a little every year, but they are actually very, very big! 🎋
We currently have it as a display in our store, and I am amazed at the size (second picture) 🫢,,,
I just showed this bamboo shoot to a customer the other day,
"Isn't it bigger than a baby?" I received this comment 🥹.
In our stores, we serve tempura with bamboo shoots that have had their acumen removed! The crispy bamboo shoots and the crunchy batter enhance the flavor 🤤 and go great with sake!
And "bamboo shoots," another name for bamboo shoots, is a Chinese character that came from the fact that they become bamboo in 10 days!
As the name suggests, it is only available at the restaurant for a short time, so if you want to try it, we recommend you come early 🙇.
