Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
The heavy rains last weekend were terrific.
There was no small amount of damage to the farm.
Whenever something like this happens, I feel the smallness of human deeds and the unreasonable magnitude of nature.
When I started farming, the emotional damage was so great (the double whammy of zero work so far and the loss of future income) that I couldn't recover for about two weeks,
By experiencing such things several times, I have learned that I can already look forward after five minutes of chewing on the sense of hopelessness in front of me. If you raise your eyes, anxiety will come to you, but in the end, you can only move forward by accumulating the small things in front of you.
The river near my house overflowed and the rice fields along the river became like a pond,
A number of carp that lived in the river were washed into the rice paddies.
As the water gradually recedes after the rain, the backs of the carp, unable to return to the river, become visible on the surface of the water.
My son and I scooped up a 40-50 cm carp that was stuck in the water and returned it to the river,
You saved two lives today!"
I'll just say thank you for the heavy rain, even if it made me feel like a hero 😅.
Let's keep up the good work this week!
