Summer's time!

A pleasant breeze that makes you want to open all the windows of your light truck and talk unintentionally.
I found myself in October.
Well, it was really a long summer.

There are still lots of bugs and we haven't recovered from the damage, but it will gradually subside.
The kale, leafy greens, and early fall number one have been hit hard, but the children that are coming after them are growing at a much faster rate. We expect to start serving leafy greens on the buffet a little bit this week and again the week after.
I was already looking around the fields every day, worrying about whether they were growing okay, reviewing my winter shipping plans, and fretting. It's not over yet, though.

When something that was becoming a matter of course is no longer so.
While we are trying hard to get back to our daily routine, it is times like this that we feel it.
Someone once told me that the opposite of "thank you" is "natural.
Because our current daily life is built on the accumulation of the past,
The future of our daily lives will be created from here and now.
For the sake of Japanese agriculture,
For the sake of Japanese food,
I know what I can do even if I take such a big swing at it,
I know, but don't lose something big so you don't have to realize it after you've lost it,
I hope to learn from small mistakes (not small at all) and act on them.

There are only a few more weeks of potatoes to go!
Sorry, but I'm looking forward to working with you this week!
