Every winter, it is time for sweet potatoes, which can be enjoyed in stores from November!
This year at the staff field day, we will be digging sweet potatoes in October, and from there they will be ripened for sweetness.
They are definitely sweeter now than when they were first picked!
The sweet potatoes are heated before baking on the griddle, and we pay close attention to the details of "how many minutes at what temperature"!
We are constantly researching to find the temperature at which it is easiest to eat and the sweetest, while preserving the texture. We hope you will try our Beniharuka (sweet potato)!
