Today, we would like to introduce our monthly "Staff Field Day!
WE ARE THE FARM's staff is divided by store or field.
Basically, the work is divided between the store and the field, but once a month, the entire staff of the store goes to the field to work on a "staff field day.
By working in the fields together, we all exchange information and communicate with each other! It is a great time to get fresh field information ^^.
The photo shows beets after the "thinning" process. This is the process of deciding which beets to harvest and pulling out the seedlings in between so that they can be well nourished. This is also done with carrots and other vegetables, and is sometimes done by 20 people all together for about 3 hours as a field day's work! It is a very patient work, but very important!
We will continue to work hard to bring you delicious vegetables that take a lot of time and effort to produce.
Please call us in advance for take-out and take-out orders so that we can deliver your order without keeping you waiting.
